We will work on that for the next version. Sorry for the trouble on this table.
It’s been over a year. When can I expect a fix?
Most likely what? A patch to version 3 OR version 4?
In the next update of version 3 or are you saying version 4?
It’s been almost six months. Any update?
While we wait for them to fix this in their next release, you can just do what I did and change the data type of the quantity field yourself.
Wow, Robert, you’re right. I have almost 2 MILLION records in my shiptoaddressdetail table with thousands of duplicate entries for the same customer.
I have been posting for some time about a similar problem I am having with the additionalnotesdetail table. There are a number of tables that have no primary keys so I wouldn’t be surprised if there are even more tables with duplicate records.
Great. Looking forward to the fix.
I have to use it because my users have notes in the QuickBooks additionalnotesdetail table that they want me to access.
Can I get an update on this problem? Thanks.
Is anyone looking into this problem?
This same customer has now grown to 6,308 records in the additionalnotesdetail table despite having only 10 unique Notes!
The table has nearly 60,000 records in total which exceeds the size of any other table and just keeps growing.
I hate to be a pest but this seems like a pretty easy fix—add a primary key to the table to avoid creating duplicate records.
QuickBooks Enterprise 18 and OpenSync 3.0.18.
I did see that version 3.0.19 is available but it appears to be a minor upgrade with just 2 bug fixes—unrelated to my problem.
Any update to the problem with the additionalnotesdetail table creating multiple entries of the same record?
The additionalnotesdetail table is a mess. I have one customer with three notes (IDs 0, 1, & 2) but OpenSync has created 135 records with those same three ID numbers repeated dozens of times each.
My guess is that the problem with this particular table is due to the fact that it doesn’t have a primary key. Perhaps if you used a composite primary key from NoteID and IDKEY (customer ID) fields?
