    Running OpenSync 3.0.18

Was using QuickBooks Enterprise 15 and just upgraded to QB Enterprise 18. Typical horror show that is normal with QB upgrades but we’re running again. Our accountant always wants to change the name of our database file when we change QB versions. Also in a new directory. For example old directory is “QB_15” new one is “QB_18”. Old file name is something like “company_name_15.qbw”, new one is “company_name_18.qbw”.

So can I just go through the osconfig.xml and change the directory and file name to the new one? Then I wouldn’t have to redo all the tasks I’ve created.

Of course, I don’t want to screw up the database or cause other problems.

Unfortunately you have to delete the database from OpenSync along with the tasks linked to it; and re-add you database as “Add Existing Database” then redo all the task.
    Sorry for all the inconveniences.
