Can’t run OpenSync Job because getting error that “QuickBooks already has a company file open…”
I did have QuickBooks open on this same computer, but I didn’t think that would be a problem. I closed QuickBooks, and went back to OpenSync, and it is stuck in “running” mode. Hit “Cancel” and waiting about 10 minutes, until job finally cancelled. Re-ran and job runs successfully.
But, tell me, is it really the case that we can’t run OpenSync and QuickBooks at the same time. That doesn’t seem right.
When you are running a task in OpenSync, you cannot use QuickBooks on that computer. And if QuickBooks is opened, it has to be the same company file that you are running the task against to it. That is QuickBooks restrictions, not OpenSync’s
