Does OpenSync 3.0 support SSH / SSH Tunnel?
I am trying to connect remote MySQL server from Amazon RDS which is only accessible via SSH tunnel.
Is there any workaround that can use to bypass SSH?
So far unfortunately OpenSync v3 doesn’t support SSH. We are working on it. Sorry for the inconveniences.
Hi,
Just an idea I don’t know if it will work but you can use putty.exe and do SSH tunning to your entire computer. then you can run opensync to connect to your SQL database.

I am sure there is better software than putty that support this.
Do you have a release date for this feature yet?
We would prefer enabling SSL support in OpenSync for MySQL, as our need is to send data from OpenSync to our cloud-hosted database server. Enabling SSL would encrypt the data when it sent over.
Thanks!
