Just purchased and installed OpenSync 3.0 and I’m trying to add an existing database, when I click test I get an error: Invalid object name ‘sys.sysdatabases’. Help please. I’m sure I’m using the correct server name, database name, and credentials.

I was now able to add my company file with your latest version, but I’m still getting this error when trying to add the existing database.

    Invalid object name ‘sys.sysdatabases’.

Am I the only one with this issue? Is there a fix?

Try adding the SQL server name after the server name

For example, if your server was named ‘bigturnip’ specify ‘bigturnip\sqlexpress’ where sqlexpress is the instance name – this just happens to be the default used by SQL Server 2005 SQLExpress.
