Hi, I’m trying to connect to an Amazon RDS instance (mySQL) using SSL. As far as I can tell, there’s no way to specify a .pem file in OpenSync 3.0, as I believe you could just specify the connection URL in 2.x. Is there any way to connect with SSL in OpenSync 3.0?
So when entering credentials for a user that requires SSL, it seems to pass the ‘Test Connection’ when setting up the db in OpenSync. However, clicking the db after setup shows “Access denied for user …. (using password:YES)”. This user has all necessary privileges, all that’s necessary (again, as far as I can tell) is being able to specify ‘useSSL=true’ in the connection string.
Can Support please respond to this question? Is there any way to use SSL with OpenSync 3.0?
OpenSync v3 doesn’t support SSL connection. Sorry for the inconveniences.
