Hi,
I moved QB company file from one PC to another.
When I tried to connect to QB file in new location, it kept asking to open QB with admin access even though I open QB with admin rights.
Please advise how to resolve this issue.
You need to update the company file path or delete the company file from OpenSync and re-add it.
I uninstalled OpenSysnc and reinstalled. Successful.
now, when I was tring to add a company, it said
Quickbooks already has a company file open. If you want to open another company file, close this one first.
I know I would have to open a company file with admin right to add a company, which I was doing.
I already delete it from integrated application list in QB.
Please advise.
Regards,
Hi Yuji
You need to make sure the path to your working QBW file is correct, see attached for where you check the path. After what you have done you may need to reset the integrated applications from QB in single user – admin.
Hope this helps.
Hi
I set run as administrator to open OpenSync, and then I could add a company.
Thank you!!
