    I’ve been having problems with OpenSync not syncing on a regular schedule. I had troubles with the service not always starting correctly, so I created a batch file that runs all of the syncs for the 66 different Quickbooks files we maintain, and Task Scheduler runs every night to run those batch files using my user account, which is an admin account on the machine.

    If I run the batch files directly while logged in, it usually works. Sometimes it fails to connect to QB, but most of the time it works. When it doesn’t, I just need to manually open QuickBooks and then run the batch file. When others (non-administrators) run the batch file, it usually doesn’t work, they usually need to open QuickBooks first, and then it will work.

    I’ve tried twice before posting this request and attaching the log files, but neither of the posts stuck, so instead I’m just copying and pasting some of the log files below for review. It appears as though OpenSync is not successfully opening Quickbooks from the OpenSync Log, but the QuickBooks log does not generate any errors. I reviewed the forum and found a suggestion about checking the firewall settings, I’ve also verified the QuickBooks license is active and valid.

    Please help me figure out why this is not working.

    It could be the time that you leaving between the task. It has to be like 5 mins between the task and start from there. QuickBooks needs time to recover while opens and closes company file. Can you try increasing the time between the task?
