We’ve been forced to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. After downloading and attempting to run the crsetup.msi Windows gives an error prompt:
“The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation.”
I’ve spent the last day on Google and Windows Support trying to find a solution to the issue. Proposed registry edits, security policies, etc… do not fix the issue and allow installation. Running the msi as Administrator does not allow installation.
How do we install Consolidated Reporting on Windows 10?
I am considering buying this product but am having the same problem as above. I’m running windows 10 home, I tried enabling admin access, adding MSI rules in the registry, disabling firewalls/antivirus everything that I could reasonably find online.
It doesn’t work. I would not purchase this package if you are running Windows 10.
